How thick is gessoboard? i.e. does it need to be framed or can it hang on its own?

Excellent question . . . the gessoboard is 1/8 inch thick. I believe there are hardware fixtures that could attach easily to the back for hanging out of a frame. It's very sturdy stuff.

Well, believe me it can be done. A living can be eeked!

We're living proof of it. Plus you're in a much better location for selling art. Save your pennies and get your own merchant website. And try to find a gallery that's really into your style. We do lots of giclee prints, too, which are great for generating income!

Marian -- thanks for the support! Looks like you guys are up to a lot of fun out there. Beautiful stuff.

Thanks, Kirsty -- this one came out particularly nice, to be sure.

Go for it, Kadie -- I've found doing regular painting sessions immensely helpful already. Moreover, it's a great meditative way to end the day. Thanks for stopping by!
