Lemon Slice

I quite liked painting this one . . . there are a lot of subtle color and temperature shifts that take place on the skin of a lemon.

oil on gessobord, 5 x 7 inches
Bid on this painting now. Bidding starts at $40.

As a bonus, the winning bidder will also receive a free original Haiku on the theme of lemons, repentance, and creation.

Yes, this is one of my favorites now! I may have to bid on this. Great work. I'm glad you haven't abandoned your miniatures completely for the nude forms. They are impressive too.

hi david, it's me again--the pear purchaser! i love the lemon--it doesn't appear to have been sold, will you reopen the bidding?

i actually love this for a lot of reasons right now, the biggest being the lemons to lemonade thing. i'm no longer with the school an am no longer in possession of the little paintings i loved so much :(

BUT! i can start over, so i'm here looking.

thanks for still painting.

Well, David... I actually want this painting, too.
I was in Great Barrington the other day and thought of you.
Super work!
